If its priced well buy it! Cant go wrong! yea not convient as comfortable as a new one! But it will get the job done! Yea some people say the shifting sucks or the hydraulics are slowed compared to.other breeds shifting is decent if you keep tranny brake adjusted up good! Let a mouse chew some wires in a new john deere and then tell me how you like its shifting! Never seen a mouse chew metal linkages if you have id say you have bigger problems than a 86 series shifting! All depends if the operator wants to run it or wants to bash it! I feel thier good old tractors!
