As a matter of fact I don't think the error would be due to working overtime, I'm sure the manufacturing process is heavily computerized and some glitch caused the computer to direct another machine to double the powder. People hoarding or not hoarding has nothing to do with it, who is hoarding anyway? where are they getting enough at one time to hoard? There is one store I know of that allows people to buy any amount of 22 ammo they want when they have it in stock, which is not often, all the other stores limit people to one box. I have had some 22 ammo on back order for over 6 months and know people who have it back ordered a year or more, there is something else going on with 22 ammo besides so called hoarding. I have read that it is simply less profitable than other ammo so it takes less priority, I don't know if that is true but it makes sense to me.
