Went up and saw the Misses this afternoon. She is feeling much better. She still has two more surgeries plus a lot of physical therapy to get her going again. She likes the staff at Mayo much better than Iowa City or Dubuque. So we talked it over and she is going to do her recovery totally at Mayo. They have a kind of assisted living section that she can be in her own little suite. They are kind of like a small apartment. She will not have to go out side to get to any of the stuff they need to do. There is enclosed walk way to the main hospital from where she will be.
I like that she will have the people that are actually doing the surgeries checking on her regularly and they will be coordinating her physical therapy. I think that will be better than some one that does not met face to face with the Doctor that is in charge so to speak.
She told me that there had better be no strange women around. LAMO I never have actually had to do the whole dating thing. The first wife and I grew up together. My second wife is the sister of an old Army buddy that came and was helping with the kids after my first wife passed away. So in the normal type of dating deal I never have. So the idea of me out running around after women is kind of funny and about likely to happen as hitting the lotto twice. We still joke about it though.
She tried to get me to go swimming with her this afternoon. She is doing that as part of her therapy. She loves swimming. Me not so much. I can swim but usually not unless it is hotter than heck do I voluntarily go swimming.
Well I will get to eat all the things I like. LOL The dogs might get a run for their money. They usually are the odor creators but after a few days of chili or bean & corn bread I might be able to hold my own. LMAO.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed. Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
