Assuming you've got a B series pump and not a C. New parts for C pumps were discontinued over 30 years ago. The "B" as in a JDB of DB - requires few special tools. You need a 6 tooth fluted "Bristol" wrench to get one special bolt out of it. Fuel delivery is set with a generic 2" outside micrometer. Timing advance is set with a plastic window with the engine running. A person with experience can take a pump all apart, fix/replace what's needed, and put back together in 2 hours. Complete seal and o-ring kit is $14. New bronze bushing in front is $6. New pump-vanes - $14. That's often all that is needed. Note that there is no standard "rebuild" kit. Parts are replaced one by one, as needed. Most pumps sold as "rebuilt" have less then $50 new parts in them and the main moving parts often have 30,000 engine hours on them and left "as is."
