Been there, just had 7 fused last April (second oper.).Glad I did. Really helped my pain, I have a life back, but be aware of the long term restrictions. I did not heed the warnings the first time and paid a big price. You need to go in with eyes open, they can fix the pain(did in my case) but they can not give you a new back.
