I have contemplated the same, I am not sure from a strength consideration, given the configuration, does this compromise what you have now, or can a blank be fabricated, installed without losing a thing, all the while gaining the benefit of being versatile, providing an easy switch between the tools you can use. Our later model compact has quick tach, it was never used for years, until I could not take the additional labor of not having forks, and I scrimped and saved to have enough to buy a second hand set, almost new. The labor those forks saved was immediately realized, I wish I had the same on my 850 ford with wagner loader at home. I do have forks for it, repurposed vehicle lift arms. This is a fun question, with all the fabricators, tinkerers, and self created agricultural engineers participating here, I believe its entirely possible, and not all that complicated to do by anyone with the skills needed. Is it not just a blank plate that needs to be fitted to the loader arms, the rest is plug and play, minus extra hydraulics for tools that require it, its had to have been done by someone here, lets see some photos LOL !!!!!!

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
