this lion was killed sunday am, he had been in town frequently over the last several months and was just getting too close to pets and children in the residential district, the town near me is in the lincoln national forest so the cat had plenty of cover his reason for coming down from the high country is tourists feed the deer untill a big portion of the local deer heards hang out in town for the free grub, in spite of the fact that its against the law to feed the deer, the just dont get that when the deer hang out in town the critters that eat deer hang out in town too, we still have at least 3 of these cats ranging around our place but there not frequent, at least i havent seen them for a month or so this guys dad is a friend of mine fish and game gave permission to take out the cat which was fair size as y'all can see this is taken in a backyard in town, not out in the woods
