I've had many of the same thoughts, questions, and concerns. I don't have any good answers. And I have a very unsettled feeling about the whole thing. The smiling young man in the JD commercial says it all when he claims he can fix your combine from 100 miles away! (If sec. 179 really doesn't come back, I've got to do something different!) A combine and three tractors, brand new, all at once! That just doesn't even seem right. If we are fortunate enough to have a grandson want to take over, as long as I'm alive, debt will remain minimal, so that the ability to withstand whatever comes along is maximized.
