Completely off that note, and more as a general commentary:
Not to be misconstrued or label as something undesirable, but for once, in this world of trash, PC police, misplaced rage, and rampant over-zealousness concerning feminism, and all "Causes" in general; it is nice to see young talented ladies being feminine and graceful.
There was a time when mothers would use the term "lady-like." It wasn't uncommon to hear someone say "that's not very lady-like." You don't hear that anymore. All I ever see are tattoos, baggy jeans, lots of body piercings, dark make-up and girls with half shaved heads dancing like something you'd see on a pole in the bad part of town. And that's on the dang music award shows!
Sure, these skaters wear heavy stage make-up that works better for a live showing, and not HD-TV on a 52 inch screen. However, you don't see anything incredibly rau_nchy or sloppy. No matter what they do or how they act out of the rink, for that short time, you get to see someone beautiful, do something beautifully and gracefully.
I guess it's not what most think. When you sit down an examine what it really is; it is turning a human body into a piece of artwork. It's the same thing others see in a tractor, in their style, and their appearance. Even junk piled high, or a rusty weather beaten object can possess the same type of art form. (and now it is tractor related! see how I pulled that one around? LOL )
