Local fellow that also sells silage bags and covers had his shop/machine shed/warehouse burn today. He feeds a lot of cattle. He actually was down in MO buy feeder calves today. The hired hand was doing chores.
He lost the shed, JD 4960, Case 580J loader tractor, IH 100 hydro, Knight TMR wagon, Tub grinder. Plus all the plastic silage bags and silo bunker covers. Several semi loads.
It was a real big fire with black smoke you could see for miles.
Feel bad for him. He does a real nice job with his cattle. I always like to look at his cattle as I go by. They look like peas in a pod down the feed bunk.
I am going to stop by tomorrow and see if there is anything we can do to help.
