needed a bigger field cultivator one spring, dealer was asking $1500, private seller was asking $800 same model and condition. I said sure to the private deal, and they were kinda ticked off. Said they would sell it to me for $600, but were unhappy they couldn't haggle with me. Could tell I ruined their day....
Went to look at a trailer, made small talk with the fella for 1/2 hour after looking the trailer over with him, and finally had to get going, asked well what do you want, he still hadn't named a price. Well, ah, my son in law was kinda interested he said last week, not sure I really have it for sale.... What?
