an older couple lived back up in the holler a ways, one day the wife, eunice, a rather heavy set woman in control, told her husband, jeb, a tall lanky man with a long beard, something was wrong with the outhouse and to go up and check it out. well, jeb goes up and looks thing over; the roof, walls and doors were all ok and seeing nothing visible he went back down to the house. later that day eunice comes down and jumps on jeb, i told something is wrong with the outhouse and i told you to check it. this time jeb goes back up to the outhouse, checks everything over again and seeing nothing he sticks his head down through the hole and starts looking around. about this time eunice walks up behind him and jeb, startled, pulls his head back out and catches his beard on a crack in the seat and hollers "ouch" and eunice replies; hurts, doesn't it?
