I doubt that will happen untill the Feds declair that is the law of the nation. CA respects your AZ drivers Lic and it should your AZ CCW. I would add this. I live in two states. California and North Dakota. It seems to me that almost everythign is against the law in California and almost nothing is against the law in North Dakota. Still, I don't know anyone in trouble in CA and 1/2 the guys I know in ND are wearing ankle braclets. Honestly I prefer living under the CA model. Not that I would ever suggest a unlawful act. But, come out on your trip, do what you think is necessary to protect yourself. Do not, under any circumstances draw attention to your self. Have your AZ CCW, you can always tell the jury you though it, like your drivers lic was valid (plausable deniability). Hay it is something. And, unlike Florida, people in California rather like it when bad guys get shot. While on the Pacific Cost Highway, or California 1 as we call it in northern California (northern and southern CA are really different places)Visit the Hurst Castle and the Weatherby factory in Paso Robels.
