I am not Adirondack Case Guy but I set 25 taps today and will set 6 more as soon as I make lids for the buckets and find the taps that I know are somewhere. All but one of the holes I drilled were running before I put the spile in the hole. You get your purest and highest grade sap early in the run, but we eat all grades of syrup and don't mind. Zach

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
