The best mower I have is an ooooooold Snapper rear engine before there were any safeties. The ditch in front of the farm is steep. I walk beside it on the hill and keep it from tipping over. I was so tired of waiting for the safety switches to die on the four year old Cub Cadet that I finally bypassed them. Only one I left was the parking brake set to start. I figure it's a good idea for the starter not to need to spin the hydro to fire it up.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
