I can remember coming out of a guy's farm in South Dakota one day with a big load of hay and got into a snow storm , some called a blizzard and there were times i could not see the grab handle on the hood . Took me 14 hours to run across Iowa across Rt two or was it three have to look at the atlas . I really wanted to cut down I 35 , but it was snowing so hard that i never saw the sign for I35 and never realized that i had gone over top of it . The only thing that i did know was not to stop and as far as seeing the road that i had never been on before i was just guessing as to where the road really was. Power divider locked in axle loc locked in wipers running as hard as they could mirror heat on defrost on high and sixth gear . When i finally did see a sign it said Charles City that way and Waverly the other. Well i know Waverly and that is south yep i am headed that way, Finally got onto 80 and i made two more exits east and i was way past played out , Made it into some tiny little rat hole truck stop bored me a hole and packed the snow under me a bit and died . My time on the road i never missed out on a major snow storm i was always in the middle of one .
