The other day I started a thread about "Tractor Repair Gratification". I had planned to tell about a bulldozer we fixed and how good it ran. while writing it My brother calls and tells Me the bulldozer has a crankcase full of diesel fuel so I refrained from telling the story. Yesterday I was following the 3020 we put the six cyl. engine in so I called the previous owner to tell him what we had done and how well it had turned out. We went about another block and stopped at a light and all of a sudden smoke starts coming from under the dash. My brother jumps off and pulls a battery cable while I grab a fire extinguisher and put out the fire. We take it on to his house and found that that someone had run a wire from the key switch to the injector pump on the previous engine and it had shorted out. All that to say be careful how you brag something bad might happen at least it does for Me. Ron
