Had a post earlier this week about a belarus 5180 tractor not starting due to solenoid issue. I had some great suggestion to pull start to test out which I'm going to go back and do. Had a couple question on why the seller will not fix the starting problem, honestly I think they are stumped and just cheaper to get rid of.
So I'm going back tto look again and try to diagnos a little further and see if I can start with a couple of the suggestions I got. I'm going to bring a couple of fresh 12v bats, hook up to 24v and find a 50 amp fuse to wire in to cross solenoid and then hope for the best. I might try and jump with 24 v onto starter after I disconnect alternator, gives me an idea o If they fried the starter. If all this fails then I will attempt to pull start, has a big allied loader on tractor so will have to support to tow. A belarus dealer I called about parts told me it can be towed in 2nd gear and should fire up unless there is an engin issue.
In preperwtion I would like to get a hold of a wiring schematic to see what other fuses and relays are on the starting circuit. If someone Could post that page for their manual that would be awesome.
