Long story short, My uncle died in 2012 and had no will and the family was in for trouble. He and his son farmed together and had equipment they bought together so through the courts he had the option of buying his dads 1/2 out and keep the equipment and he did, As much as he could. Well they had a auction today, And there were a couple of things he wanted for his 10 year old boy to remember his grandpa.
This original Farmall H has a lot of history to our family. It was bought by a local farmer in 47 new and my uncle worked for him sometimes as a kid, At 11 he was given the job to rake hay with the H and was the first tractor he ever drove. Some years later (late 60s) I worked for the same farmer and ran this same H raking hay for him and was only the second tractor for me to drive. 9 years ago after the death of this farmer my uncle bought the H at auction and used it to rake hay again with and to jen around with it. He wanted to leave it alone and leave it as it was, Original!
Well today his boy bought it back for his 10 year old son to have, We figured $800 to $1300 would buy it but were we wrong! First time in my life to see a Farmall H bring $2500! He also bought his dads Farmall 100 manure spreader for $1000 for his boy to use to clean the pens for his 4H show steers. He said its a lot of money for them but he wanted to keep them for his boy to grow up on and use. So here is what an original Farmall H and 100 spreader look like now. Bandit

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
