: I know that the F series Farmalls ran on distillate or kerosene and one could run an M on on distillate if he set the manifold the right position and used an auxiliary gas tank, but I still don't know what in the bleep distillate is!?!?! I've asked several older farmers who were around during that time and they just mumble and/or walk away. WHAT IS THIS STUFF AND WHERE CAN I GET IT???? I'm gonna need it if I ever get that F-12 that my neighbour's got sitting in the woods. Thanks in advance for bestowing your wisdom. : Eric Eric, I looked up the Distillate operations in the F-20 operator's manual. Jeff King's description is excellent. The Farmall book does not specifically describe what distillate is, but I would take Jeff's word. Jeff good job, you never stop learning.
