The reason you didn't see it again is because they don't operate like a typical retail store. When walmart or target cancels an order for a train load of jeans, Levi's calls Costco. A lot of their merchandise is stuff they bought at discount because someone else didn't want it, or someone made too much, etc. They also operate on 17% mark-up. If it's $11.70 on the shelf, they paid $10 for it. When I read about them maybe 6-7 years ago, the CEO's contract was 3 pages. Typical CEO contracts run several hundred pages.
