You have 3 years left of school, the time to start working at it is yesterday, if you want it bad enough! I started renting a farm my last year of school, 100 acres crop ground, mostly hay, my senior year I only had to go in the morning, which helped, and helped run my dads 2 farms, we have a small dairy, raise all young stock, hogs, and I was selling hay. And know at 31, dad still owns his 2 farms, we are on 50/50 partnership and I rent 3 more farms. It is a good headache to have.
