Brian,i have read your posts. I have a 98 pontiac grand prix with 77,000 miles on it with the 3800 and have recently had a shop do the intake gaskets and i also put the upper manifold on it. It had a check engine soon light stay on right after the shop worked on it. Now the light has since went off. It comes on when the key is first turned on before you start it so the bulb is good. But not on anymore when you drive it. What do you think this could be and does it need to go back and have the codes read? We have been driving it and i should have it fixed. O2sensor? Or did it fix itself? Thanks
