I pulled part of one that cracked in half at 6 pm one night last October, Told the dental receptionist it was buggin me real bad before it broke, said they hadn"t got time to see me before next appointment.
I had told them once before. If I phone and say it"s buggin me it"s pretty bad I want to see someone, or I"ll smack the next guy that annoys me in the shop or pull it my self. I have high pain thresh hold and they know that. Had 2 top wisdoms pulled there, Dentist said he"d never had any guys in his chair pullin back as he pulls down n forward. said most peoples heads follow him pulling Well I had no choice but to pull this half my self, couldn"t eat talk or shut my mouth right.
When they phoned to confirm next app. she asked how that tooth was. Just casually said "remember what I told you once", she said yes. then she said "I hope you never smacked the guy". said nope "half that tooth"s in the draw by my bed". it kinda went very quiet, she new I wasn"t bluffing on at least one part of what I told her one day. I got to the dentists he took one look as the receptionist had told him. All he said was in 30 years. I have had guys threaten to pull their own teeth, but never had a guy even close to following through.
All I will say is i tried 3 different small pliers in my model makers plier kit, before I found something that worked and 2 Tylenol, Don"t work 1/4 as good as what the dentist gives you.
Make your own choice is all i will say! Regards Robert
