Frank, I guess my first question would be why are you asking? Magneto's definately fall under the "if it aint broke don't fix it" catagory. Does your B run well? If so, leave it alone. If not, you should be able to pull the wire from one of the plugs while she's running and get a good strong blue spark. If not, look at the cheap parts first (cap, wires, etc) and then look at getting the magnet recharged. If none of this works you may want to get a new mag, I believe they can be gotten relativly cheap at swap meets at they are pretty common. hope this helps. Gary : I was wondering if someone could tell me how to go about checking to see if your magneto is putting out enough fire.
