My dad's JD 48A. My dad added power steering and you can steer that tractor with you little finger. James has it set up with a 350 sickle mower because its so easy to handle.
20+ years ago, we drove James' 65 Chevy "heavy Half" 1/2 ton p/u to Gosport, Indiana to get it. Trip back took 22 hrs. We could only travel about 50 mph and had to stop for gas about every 2.5 hrs. It was worth it. If we hadn't gone after it, it probably would have been sold.
