Finally a John Deere that I can kind of like since it at least has some good IH wheels on it !
Since I was raised with IH, always looking for a chance to kid my John Deere friends, and I have many.
I will never forget as a little kid, Dad telling me that remember John Deere is the enemy. Pretty hash words from my Dad who was a gentle friendly man. I looked at him and said really ? He grinned and said, yes because if my customer buys a Deere then that takes food from our table. Dad worked at IH Dealer all his life and so I went thru all the good and bad times with IH. When I tell the story now I stand up showing off my 240 pounds and say you can see that not much food was taken from our table ! (grin)
Seriously, have much respect for Deere as they made it and survived on their own thru thick and thin.
