Yeah right, and at my sugarhouse, where I used only 11 KWHr last month, with the meter charge, electric assistance program fee, energy efficiency charge, sales tax at six percent, storm surcharge of 1.4845%, minus a whole whopping two cents power adjustment charge CREDIT, it works out to just over $2.10/KWHr.
At the shop, where I used 12 KWHr it was more like $2.00 even, plus about $32.00 for the security light.
We did a lot better at the house 534 KWHr worked out to about .019 cents/KWHr.
This month and next with the sugarhouse up and running, I will use enough there to bring the rate down, but of course the actual bill will go up. At least I will get something for my money.
Same way with the shop, I will be usiong it much more with warm weather, and the welder really makes the meter spin.
