I bought a New Holland 1520 about the same time as you. I purchased it with the optional front end loader with the turf tires. I use it mainly for brush mowing and light grading with a 6' Woods back blade. The front bucket is used basically as a "power wheelbarrow" it comes in very handy. I have had no problems except a small electrical switch that went bad and with 175 hrs it shows no problems. It performs great at snow removal, with four wheel drive, the back blade, the hydro tranny and the loader, it moves snow very well. I recently purchased a used set of the "ag" tires and wheels for a good price. The tires are about 75%, but they will last me a good long while. Future plans may include a finish mower for the rear, and possibly a backhoe attachment. So far the hydrostatic transmission has been great, I especially like it when mowing. Expensive, but I think a good investment for the long haul. Hope you enjoy yours.
