You haven't found the tractor serial # yet as those numbers are too high. As crawlerjohn stated, the serial number is located on top of the transmission case and should be preceded by either a B or a C depending on which you have. All of the Bs, as far as I know, had wide front axles. Most of the Cs had a narrow front with two wheels although some did come with a factory wide front. The C wheelbase was about 3.6" longer at 77". The B wheelbase was 73.4". The B had a max width tread setting of 60" where the C could be set out to 80" wide at the max. Rear wheel tread was noticeably wider on the C. The B was basically designed for one row farming where the C could do 2 by straddling the rows. Something similar to the Farmall A and Farmall B.
