Dad is gone now but he always talked about plowing with mules when he was growing up. In the last two years He and Mom stayed with us and We would talk about old things he even said that when his dad bought an F12 Farmall tractor they still used the mule plows. After 50 something years it finally dawned on Me he wasn't walking behind these plows he was riding on them. So I asked him and He says yes. All these years I have been feeling sorry for him. I realize that still not as easy as plowing all day with diesel tractor with power steering but not near as bad as walking. Ron

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
