Point well taken on the price of .22 ammo as of late. I was lucky though. Last summer I had so many people from work wanting to plink away with .22's out to the farm that I just gave up and bought 25,000 rounds (we were putting about 2000 rounds down range every weekend). It wasn't more than a month after that, that .22 went through the roof and became hard to find.
I'm still lucky enough to be sitting on quite a bit yet, though I do see it starting to creep back onto store shelves. 8)

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
