IH 2424 or 424 - HELP

I have an IH 2424 and took a IH 2000 loader off it
when I bought it recently. Now I have no steering
(it has totally hydraulic powered steering)! It does
not seem to hold fluid in the reservoir under the seat.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
