I've hatched tons of them and it is a crap shoot. Last year out of the 24 layers I hatched there is not ONE ROOSTER. I'm not sure how I managed that. It may be like humans - the rooster may determine the gender.
I've gotten to the point that I just order them. My Cornish cross are coming the 11th and my Bovan layers are coming the end of April. Still not sure how many turkeys I am doing. I hate them but they sure taste good.
