I have some personal experience with it. I bought a brand new Toro snowthrower. After the first 2 hours of use Toro says..."change the engine oil" So I did. I bought a jug of that Travelers oil that TSC sells. I put in the recommended amount and then ran the Toro the next time it snowed, I check the oil and there was this white gunk crap on the dipstick...(wasnt there before) So, I drained the TSC oil out after 2 uses and put in new Pennzoil. I think from now on I will buy my oil from Oil manufacturers. Except the JD Hygard from the JD dealer.......That is what is recommended from John Deere, So I will buy it and use it.
That jug of travelers oil from TSC is likely going to be used for bar/chain oil and maybe an old push mower.
