We run a fleet of over 40 diesel engines ranging from air compressors with with little John Deere 4 cylinder engines to cranes with huge Cummins engines. They all get the same "Country Tuff" brand oil from Orschelns. Twice a year all the larger equipment (290 excavators, 60 & 70 wheel loaders, 80 ton cranes etc...) have oil tests run at the lab. Never had an oil related issue - usually find a seeping head gasket or something letting letting coolant into oil. The oil might get changed a little more often than specced because our mechanic does it when its convienent for him (its close enough in hours and he won't be on the jobsite again for another couple months).
