Hi Not strictly 1370 related but may apply anyway. my buddy operates an 1175. he has found out certain parts are no longer available from case, some that are available are horrible prices. most of the parts that can"t be got from Case are gone in the wrecking yards as they all start to get the same thing wrong. The biggest thing that would put me off other than that would be the power shift.
This is why my buddy got the 1175 it don"t have one. so no mega bills or buying a new tractor when the shift quits and it"s more to fix it than the tractors worth.
Not trying to start a crap war with guys that had one in 1976 and it was a good tractor.even 2290 newer tractors make nothing round here because of the bad transmission reputation. Kinda like massey 1135 on the massey board, many are in the junk because of failed transmissions and hydraulics. yes it was a good tractor in 76 but they are heading to 40 years old now, many hours worked and a good chunk of abuse on some.! Regards Robert
