I'd do the 300. I have run the other tractors. They are all good but the 300 will be better for a new operator. It will do well with a post hole auger as long as it has the three point or fast hitch. The Ford will do that, too, but it is a lot lighter and you can get into trouble quickly using them to dig the holes if you aren't experienced. The 300 will also have better hydraulics and live PTO. Those are both important for a newbie. The C will have pretty good live hydraulics, but it is the same power as an A or B. depending on how much you will use it you may run out of ponies.
The Ford would be my second choice. If the 300 doesn't have a lift on the rear you will be limited. The C is a good tractor but it is a little lower on the power scale.
