Where you are from would make some difference. I recently purchased a building from a company in Cascade, Iowa that underbid Menards and every building company that submitted an offer. I had erection bids from $1.50 and $2.25 per square foot to erect. The crew at $1.50 is actually building the building with the most trim and furnishing their own equipment. I have decided that these lumber contractors are worse than dealing with crooked car salesman. Had one name brand company want 55,000 for a three sided building and another 25,700 to erect. Went with a full enclosed building with doors and ventilation for 44,800 erected.
