The only issue I have with the 4010 is traction on a very steep incline covered with snow and frozen ground or ice under snow. Mine can handle the steepest incline I can make with a backhoe and not flip the hoe over as long as there is no snow. I think you will be surprised that low range will do.
My sister has a gator. It a 2x4 with rear lock out. Both mules have rear lock out. George

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
