I think the term "moonbat" can be applied to either side of this issue. Yes, GMO is a form of evolution or breeding, it's true. The potatoes we ahve to day, or the tomatoes, would be tiny little nubs compared to what we have now without breeding and evolution of the species. But it gets beyond that guys. Look around you. Today we autistic kids all over the place. Why? Part of it is that more kids get labeled. The other part is that something changed, evolved. The national average used to be 1-300 something. Now it's 1-80 something and if you go to a military base and look at dependents it's 1-30 something. Those numbers are off the top of my head and may be off a little, but something changed and evolved. Or look at girls. Where the average for girls entering puberty used to be at 11 years and some months, now it's at 9 years and some months. It used to occur as late as 17 years in some cultures, now it's far earlier. Why?
We learn as we evolve. Sometimes we learn we made mistakes. Lead in paint, asbestos, smoking, DDT, Alar, red dye 14 or whatever it was. The moonbats on both sides will say the other is dead wrong. I believe the ancient advice of "all things in moderation" is probably the best advice.
