Needed a PTO shaft for my FIL's brush-hog and checked out the closest Trasher Supply Company. They wanted $189 for it. Also had been waiting for some equipment yellow paint (when they carried the good stuff Valspar)and they still didn't have it after being out for 3 weeks. I decided to drive south to the neighboring town and found the exact PTO there for $139. It was a Thursday evening and at checkout the gal knocked off another 10% because she said it was senior citizen day. So $189 down to $125. I completely gave up on TSC about 4 years ago. They are higher priced but have full service tire, tillage parts, Stihl parts and service and generally better quality merchandise. They operate more like an old fashioned hardware store and still have clerks on the sales floor and are helpful and friendly.
