just bought a 51 model super a , at a really good deal . the old guy had started going through it and i geuss he had taken the trigger starter off and was trying to convert it to a key starter with a soleniod switch. at the same time he had changed the generator to a alternator, well when i bought it it would not start. the old man had passed away and bought it not really knowing what was wrong . but after taking all the extra stuff solinoid and key switch , and putting a trigger back on the starter i was able to crank it. the problem i have is all the wireing was so screwed up i am not sure how it goes what hooks to what . esspecaily the alternator to make sure it is charging the battery. would like to keep it 12 volt just would like to wire it the right way. thanks alot
