I have the same model but with the Kohler engine and its OK, but there is no resale on these things especially without Hydro - I can buy a brand new MTD or Yardman at Home Depot for $1200 - probably the same quality as the craftsman with briggs and stratton. Finally the Craftsman is terrible if you plan to take off the deck regularly.
