Hey Old Popper -- this is your neighbor to the north by Sanborn Iowa-- I use to live in a little town called Plessis -- When I lived there they burned an old elevator (not before I got enough 2by6s out to build a garage) It was put up by an oats outfit way back and sold to a few other companies before it finally sold to its currant owner--a newer elevator was put up a bit farther west and is still there today and is part of the Hartog Elevator Co. Anyway that was the hottest fire I have ever seen--she was flat in a half hour --Plessis is located 5 miles west of sanborn and 3 miles north on the gravel in case you didnt know - Roy
