If you are going to use the tractor for average farm work and you will be putting on a fair amount of hours use the gears from AGCO. They are the highest priced parts but the best quality. There are aftermarket parts out there from places such as A&I but, these gears are not as hard, are not always a "perfect fit" and might require some filing or other altering to get them to fit correctly. I have seen the aftermarket ones not last as long as the OEM gears. If the tractor is not used much and for light use the aftermarket gears will work, otherwise buy the good ones.
For the labor that is required to get in and replace them its a good measure to put the best parts in first instead of a few years down the road when the cheap ones wear out.
