Actually yer they will. Back at the end of the 60's we were killing real close to 58,000 people a year in traffic accidents. Today that number is closer to 32,000 with many more car on the roads every day. There are also many more reported accidents today too. Part is due to cars designed to absorb the energy of a crash, seat belts, airbags and EMT's. Those old American steel cars threw you around inside, impaled you on the steering wheel or threw you through the windshield.
