Got a new Dell touch screen laptop for wife with win 8.0
Really bad interface and buggy. Took dell a few hours to upgrade the software that makes a restore image on a USB drive. The software wouldn't recognize the USB drive but file manager would
Now I'm trying to upgrade to windows 8.1 to get the start button back and the store program says I don't have an Internet connection yet I can browse the Internet with IE. got on a chat session with Microsoft and the connection software timed out just as he was going to remote into the laptop
I was allways a pc guy even built a few so not a novice with computers
Lunix or the a Mac are really looking good at this point as Microsoft really layed an egg with this version
The IE interface is so bad it's almost unusable good thing Crome works on it
Touch screen is nice though
Have to spend a few more hours fixing a 3 day old computer.
