i used to only like to read educational books, but a few years ago a friend got me into reading for entertainment. so now i like to read a variety of subjects, history, mystery, crime, comedy. i noticed a couple of familiar names mentioned from the other reply's. i like to buy paperback books at the goodwill and after i read them, then donate them to the county jail. a few years ago i was falsely accused and spent 15 days in my local county jail. i was glad they had some books to read, but there really wasn't much of a selection so if i see a good book that i already read i still buy it for the jail. i figure within the next few years they will have a well rounded library.the times i like to read is when i know im gonna be stuck waiting somewhere like the dr's office or DH'S doctors appointments. it can take me a day or a mo to finish a book and i love to read myself to sleep. i figure if i can't remember the last paragraph it's time to go to sleep. i was in the hospital after surgery a couple weeks ago and it took me 3 days to read one page cause every time i went to read i fell asleep. right now im reading fall of giants by ken follett. i recently stumbled on clive cussler's first book with dirk pitt's character and all i can say is im glad i didn't read it first, because it would have turned me off to his later series books.
