You HAVE TO HAVE good heavy Battery cables. So if you are jumping it you have to have heavy duty jumper cables. I have had to use two sets of cables one or Pos and one for Neg. Once you get a good fast turn over then work on the fuel. Becareful with glow plugs and starting fluid.
